Our Out-of-Control Dependence on Cell Phones
Beware if you love your phone…this is a rant…
An acquaintance who required my response on something sent an email to my laptop (my usual go-to, as she knew) telling me I must turn on my phone to answer her, since that way her phone beeps and she knows she has a message. She was commanding my behavior mimic hers.
