Honoring Queen Elizabeth II

My childhood and teen years were filled with family stories about the Queen. Everyone around me was British in a little town just northeast of Boston, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles. I kept photos of the Royal family in my Bible and connected with relatives still overseas. I feel a gratitude I cannot begin to express for the joy of knowing about HRH Queen Elizabeth II while growing up. I have always loved being in America, but I was born not all that far from Buckingham Palace and once on a visit overseas with my best friend Nancy we saw the Queen on her horse riding past us, so close, on her official birthday during the Trooping of the Colour.

A rich heritage given to us. And a life of service to Britain and the Commonwealth.

Thank you.
