“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Αρμαγεδών, Har-Magedon…” ~Revelations 16:16

“Cataclysmic final conflict,” from Hebrew Har Megiddon “Mount of Megiddo,” a city in central Palestine, the last battle between good and evil before the Day of Judgment.

“A catastrophic conflict likely to destroy the world and the human race.”

Is it not an extraordinary thing that the word “Armageddon” was first recorded in 95 AD in The Book of Revelations to describe the exact location where the war between Israel and Hamas rages now?

I could not sleep last night. We are witnessing an implosion of hatred in Gaza and Israel so immense. For days now, images since October 7th have been seared into our minds, shocking scenes— families slaughtered in their homes, young people at a festival running for their lives, being shot at as if they were victims in a video game, children either killed or taken hostage, even a 9-month-old baby.
